Dorothy Byrne is the current President of Murray Edwards College, Cambridge University. Dorothy was appointed Head of News and Current Affairs at Channel 4 in 2003, and during her 17 years in this post the Channel’s news and current affairs programmes won an incredible amount of Awards. Dorothy is also the former World In Action producer and editor of ITV’s The Big Story and was made a Fellow of The Royal Television Society for her “outstanding contribution to television”. She has also won the Factual Award (given by Women in Film and Television), and has written a book called 'Me, I'm not a Politician: A simple guide to saving democracy' in 2019. Dorothy chats to Suzie Thorpe and Linda Ness.
