On International Women's Day 2019 Georgina Shoshana Cohen was the first-ever female representing Israel to cross the finish line at a skeleton World Championships race.
Georgie is an online Communications Officer but her other role is an international skeleton athlete competing for Israel. In November 2018, Georgine made her debut by competing on the European Cup circuit for Israel and subsequently qualified a spot in the BMW IBSF World Championships Her mission is to become the first ever female skeleton bobsleigh athlete competing for Israel to qualify for the Winter Olympics and her target is Beijing 2022.
